MLIC Mechanics

Regular Season Mechanics

There will be two Conferences in a season, namely the Northern and Southern Conference.

North conference is consist of NCR, Central Luzon – Northern Luzon Teams.

South Conference is consist of CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol and Visayas -Mindanao Teams.

Each respective conference will have four (4) Qualifying Episodes  

Each Qualifying Episode will have a maximum of 256 teams per conference.

  1. The Q-Round will be in a Single Elimination Best of 3 Format.
  2. Each Conference will have 256 slots. 
  3. The 256 teams will be broken down into 8 groups with 32 teams each. 
  4. The final wining team per group will advance to the Episode playoffs.
  5. 8 teams per conference will qualify for the episode playoffs
  1. The eight (8) teams per conference who qualified will fight in a Single Elimination Best of Three (3) Format.
  2. The Top two (2) Finalists for each conference will then battle it out in a Best of Three (3) Game Format.
  3. Both Episode finals winners of each conference will then compete in a best of 5 match for the episode finals.
  4. The Finalists of each Episode Playoffs conference finals will automatically qualify for the season’s playoffs. Which means 2 teams per conference will qualify in each episode. A total of 4 teams per Episode. (Top 2 teams from north and top 2 teams from south).
  5. 16 Teams will qualify for the season playoffs (8 teams from North and 8 teams from south).
  1. 8 teams per conference  will fight in a best of 3 game-double elimination format until the conference finals.
  1. In the Season Grand Finals, the games will be done in a Best of Five (5) Game match up.
  2. Finally, the Season’s Grand Champion will be awarded the 1st place title of the MLIC Season One Champion. (And a season MVP will also get a special award).

*Note: Once registered, registration fee is non refundable. All  prizes will be transferred via G-cash or bank transfer, 2-3 Weeks after the episode or grand finals.
